A SAFE PLACE TO LAND

When youth enter foster care they need caregivers who can provide a special and welcoming environment to support them through this difficult time. These young people have often experienced the unimaginable and just need a short-term place to stabilize so they can begin the healing process.

Oftentimes youth need a professional assessment when they enter care so that we can determine which foster home is best prepared to help them heal. This is where receiving foster homes come in.

Short-term foster homes are special caregivers who offer a soft place to land, providing a temporary place to stay before the youth return home or enter a longer-term placement with another caring foster family.

All short-term caregivers receive the same high-level training as other foster parents, as well as professional and financial support to help the young person transition and thrive. If you are interested in learning more, please complete the form below.
